How a special order works

The blanks are paid for first, then we make it

  1. Ask

    Tell us the brand, the item and how many, with the form below, a text or a call.

  2. Get your quote

    Kelsey sends a quote with the price of every piece and what’s due up front.

  3. Pay the up-front part

    The blanks and a special-order fee are paid first. That’s when Kelsey orders your blanks, bought just for you.

  4. Approve, then pay the rest

    You see a mockup before anything is made. We start once you approve it and your blanks arrive. The rest is paid before pickup or shipping.

Good to know

A few brands come with rules

  • Carhartt, Nike, TravisMathew, OGIO and The North Face come through SanMar, a wholesale supplier, and can only be sold decorated, never blank. Big orders need SanMar to approve your logo first, and the brand’s own label stays on.
  • Nike pieces are embroidered only, and we never add to or imitate the Swoosh.
  • Engraving a YETI or a Hydro Flask ends the maker’s warranty.
  • We engrave real Stanley Quenchers. A lookalike is always called a “40 oz handled tumbler”, never a Stanley or a Quencher.
  • Brand names describe the blank we decorate. R&K Designs isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by those brands.

The terms

On every special order

  • Special-order blanks are bought just for you. The blank cost and the special-order fee are paid up front, before we order, and count toward your total. They can’t be refunded once the blanks are ordered.
  • Any supplier minimum or case quantity is shown on your quote.
  • Custom-decorated items can’t be returned or exchanged, sizes included, so please check every size before you approve. Tell us about a defect within 7 days, with photos.
  • You approve a proof before we start. Your order is made once the proof is approved and your blanks have arrived. Rush is quoted by deadline and isn’t guaranteed.
  • Brand names describe the blank we decorate. R&K Designs isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by those brands. Some brands are sold only decorated, and engraving or decorating can end a maker’s warranty.
  • You confirm you have the right to use your logo or artwork. We may decline a design that uses someone else’s trademark.
